Bremsneshatten cultural and recreation area offers spectacular experiences. There is a footpath to the top of the hat. From here you will see in all directions. Inside the hat there are several caves.
There is a footpath from road 64, the parking place in Djupbukta. The first part of the trail is a bit fuzzy. You follow first along the road 64 towards Bruhagen, then the trail heads up to the right, towards "the hat". All the time you see clearly where Bremsneshatten is, so you can not get lost. When turning right it is marked with small green arrow signs. The trail follows the ridge straight towards Bremsneshatten. On the left hand you have Averøy nursing homes.
When you get up under the hat, you are faced with a choice. Right or left?
We have drawn a circuitous route that goes from here, past the climbing area, to Bremsnes Hula and up on top of the hat. Then turn left. You can choose to go straight up on the hat. Then go to the right.
