Hiking trip to Rambergkollen with a great view of Helland, Romsdalfjorden and Molde. The tour starts from Remmem.
Start from the car park and follow the gravel road up the hill to where the toll road starts. At the barrier, turn off from the gravel road, to the right, and continue following the remains of the old farm road. Follow the old farm road up the hill for a while until it flattens out. Here a path starts up the forest, on the right side of the road. Follow the path that ascends slightly and in some places steeper upwards through the forest. Before you get out of the forest, the path splits, here you turn right. The trail has some roots, in wet areas there are bumps. After 20-30 minutes, the terrain flattens out somewhat and you come to a more open leader and a bog. Here you have a view of the mountains Båten, Ytstetinden and Remmemstiden. Follow the cliffs over the bog, and the path further up into the forest. Here there is partly steep terrain up to the top, but no airy part, and there is a good path. At the top, volunteers have built a very nice gapahuk, and there is a fire pit and benches that everyone can use - so here it is well prepared for a good break where you can enjoy the great view! . Follow the same path back.
Arrival and parking
Drive to Helland center. At the roundabout at Stella Maris and the City Hall, take the exit towards Myra. After 500 meters, turn left (second exit on the left after the roundabout). Follow the road straight ahead for about 600 meters, where the road splits, turn right, then after a few meters turn right again. The parking lot is then straight ahead, where the asphalt road turns into a gravel road.
