Would you like to wake up to the sound of birds, and the wind rustling in the tall trees around your campsite? Summer is an ideal time for “glamping” - a new type of ”glamorous” camping that is gaining popularity all over the world. Being in nature is one of the best ways to get away from the stresses of everyday life, and Romsdal camping and glamping offers a peaceful experience on two ”glamping” sites.
What is glamping?
“Glamping” is “glamorous camping”! Glamping is a great way to relax, have fun with friends, or share an unforgettable weekend with the family. It is an opportunity to unwind, enjoy nature, breathe the fresh mountain air, go fishing, watch the sunrise by the river, light a fire, and end the day with a delicious barbecue. In addition, you will sleep well in a warm, soft bed and wake up to birdsong, and sunshine peeking through the tent. Outside the tents by the river, there is a lovely patio with an outdoor fireplace and a wood-heated hot tub, which is available for rent.
The road to Romsdal Camping & Glamping is in good condition and located off the E136. The tent sites are located in a peaceful and beautiful setting. You can stay in a unique and comfortable Arctic Dome tent, with a beautiful view of the Rauma river. The tent has electricity, and a cosy Mongolian-style interior with pillows, blankets, a low table, and a double bed that can be divided into two single beds. Two extra beds can be brought in (for a supplement of NOK 100/bed, paid when booking). You must bring your own duvet/sleeping bag. If you want access to a kitchen, this is available for rent. There is also access to a shower and toilet.
