Sollia was built in 2002-03 and is a restored stone barn partly built by materials from timber saved after a fire in a klipfish wharf in Kristiansund in 2001. The view over the fjord and further towards the mountains in the south is extravagant. One assumes that people has been living at Sollia since the 1600s, maybe even earlier.
Sollia is a cabin along the Fjord Route, and nice day trips to i.e. Storfiskhytta or Storlisetra is recommended. The cabin is self-serviced and open all year. Total amount of beds: 22.
